The SAS BirdWatch Report Form will allow members to report their birding reports online.

Please fill in the form with the necessary information and submit. An email will be sent to the Admin email address and the data will be gathered and published at the end of each week.

Data readout will be available in two (2) formats: by date and by birder.

A couple of pointers on the form may be in order.

• Species = binomial nomenclature; the formal system of naming specific species
• UTM or LAT-LON | coordinates  = numeric identifiers of an exact location on the planet
  • The UTM or LAT-LON (Latitude-Longitude) coordinates may be obtained two (2) ways
    • Use GPS device
      • mark a Waypoint or
      • record readout
      • fill in form
    • Use Website (http://www.gorissen.info/Pierre/maps/googleMapLocationv3.php)
      • Zooming IN to the location of the sighting
      • Copy the LAT-LON numbers from one of the 3 readouts
      • Paste into form
      • Use this web URL for Celery Bog locations (centered on the CBNC statue)
• URL = Web Address (universal resource locator)
  • Provide a web link to additional information; Audubon Society, USGS, Wikipedia, Cornell Lab of Ornithology
