Early Bird Hikes at Horticulture Park
Early Bird Hikes will start the first Thursday in April (the 3rd) and go throughout April & May. Meet at the parking lot in the birch trees at the east end of the park (on McCormick Road across from the Purdue West Shopping Center). Starting times will be adjusted depending on daylight saving time & sun up, but will start at 7:30 am for the remainder of May. Usually lasting one hour.
- We have wrapped up our programs for the spring, and will take the summer off. We’ll start our regular meetings again in September. Our first meeting will be a group effort. Carry a camera with you for the summer and capture those special nature shots so that you can share them with us at the September meeting. Slides, Prints, Digitals and Videos are welcome. Put together about 10 minutes worth of your best. We’ll see you in September.
- Thursday, September 11, 2008 Member Program: The best of your summer. Slides, prints, digitals and videos from our members and guests summer vacations. Bring about 10 minutes of photos to share with the others at the meeting. 7:15 PM in the Lilly Nature Center in West Lafayette.
You are invited to join other members for a carry in dinner before the meeting. 6:00 pm at the Lilly Nature Center.
